Desde Guerrero, llega Manolo Maya con su nuevo EP “Travesia” un proyecto de cuatro canciones que funge como su proyecto debut. Este proyecto fue lanzado a través de LOWKI y producido por la misma cabeza del sello Berdu, navegando entre el R&B y urbano moderno. El 2021 ha sido un año activo para el artista, siendo este su quinto lanzamiento.
El ofrecimiento incluye los sencillos “Desastre” y “Lentamente”, temas que fueron lanzados previamente durante el año camino a este lanzamiento. Así como para muchos artistas durante al pandemia, el periodo le dio una oportunidad al artista de meterse de lleno a trabajar este proyecto.
El EP es descrito como “la travesía de Manolo en una relación sentimental, los altibajos y los placeres que conlleva tenerla así como también el aprendizaje que te deja, la huella de una persona con la que compartes un poco de tu vida”, una transformación tanto sentimental como musical para el artista. Es así como a través de las cuatro canciones se describe un proceso de cambio desde el momento en que el protagonista conoce a una persona, hasta el momento en que decide que ya no forma parte de su vida.
