Hispana es una artista mexicana quien acaba de hacer su primer lanzamiento del año titulado “Real Mexicana”, un tema que mezcla su característico sonido e interpretación con el sonido del drill. Después de lanzar su álbum “Mujer de Fuego” en el 2021 y colaborar con Yoss Bones en “Andamos al cien”, la artista se prepara para comenzar una nueva etapa en la que busca explorar más los sonidos del momento.
“Me siento orgullosa que soy mexicana, que me siento orgullosa mis raíces de mi cultura, y pues quise hacer esta canción basada en lo que está sonando como quien dice ahorita, en esos sonidos, creo que el drill es algo que está muy pegado ahorita” nos comenta acerca de este tema. Hablando acerca de que la mexicanidad es un factor constante en sus canciones, hablamos acerca de cómo el drill definitivamente es un género que no es parte de la esencia de la música mexicana y ella está en acuerdo conmigo: “Esto es algo que no pertenece a nuestra cultura, pero podemos ponerle ese sazoncito mexicano, a todo lo que hacemos, yo creo que muchas personas, no se lo gringos han de decir estos mexicanos locos haciendo rap” aún así la artista busca mantener el elemento mexicano en el tema a través de la presentación visual de su persona y proyecto: “Cuando decidí hacer este video quería justo fusionar estas dos partes, que se viera algo street, que es como normalmente me visto como normalmente ando en la calle y poner este lado de mi parte soy norteña, usando mi tejana subiendo al caballo y que la gente pueda ver¡Ah está representando nuevamente como esas dos partes!”
Acerca de sus próximos planes la artista habla acerca de salir de su zona de confort, de cómo después de trabajar su álbum pasado encerrada en su cuarto, el salir a shows y regresar a la vida cotidiana la está inspirando para entrar en la corriente de lo que está sucediendo actualmente “Creo que mujer de fuego es muy apegado a lo que a mi me gusta hacer, a lo que yo quería hacer, a como yo quería hacer esos sonidos, a lo que yo quería presentar a la gente, la conceptualización del álbum… fue muy mío y definitivamente esto ha sido un nuevo reto y decir sabes que me necesito poner las pilas, tengo que salir de mi zona de confort, tengo que salir de mi zona de confort, tengo que hacer cosas frescas, tengo que hacer cosas que la gente esta escuchando ahora”.
