Ofenbach se prepara para un verano lleno de shows y con el lanzamiento de su nuevo sencillo “4U” quieren regresarnos a una época en donde el pop se apodero del EDM y llevar las fiestas de aquel entonces a los escenarios este verano. El dueto compuso su nuevo track en Los Ángeles y lo terminaron en su totalidad en menos de cuatro horas, en ese momento se convirtió en la primer canción que completaron este año y fue así como decidieron que sería la canción con la cual comenzarán sus lanzamientos este 2022.
Dorian Laudiquie nos habla acerca del estado actual de la música EDM y el pop, en el cual reconocen que más que ser influenciados por la música actual, buscaron en sus memorias las fiestas y momentos del pasado para crear este tema: “Hoy estamos muy nostálgicos de la música electrónica pasada, de hace 10 o 12 años de cuando éramos adolescentes y estábamos más en las fiestas y queremos regresar este estilo al frente de la música EDM” y agrega que es una tendencia que él ve resurgir en el futuro próximo: “Tengo el sentimiento de que actualmente hay una tendencia de la música house… pero confío que en futuro regresará la música pop al futuro, como en el 2010 con las canciones de Calvin Harris “We Found Love”, “I Got a Feeling” con David Guetta, creo que estos tracks regresaran y es por eso que lanzamos “4U” porque queríamos hacer algo como hace 10 años, algo verdaderamente positivo, con un buen mood y sin hacernos muchas preguntas”.
El dueto conformado por Dorian Laudiquie y Cesar Laurent de Rummel se embarcará en más de 50 fechas este verano para las cuales se están preparando tratando de evitar el alcohol y dormir sus horas completas de sueño por el momento, ya que en sus palabras “Este verano será una fiesta enorme”.
