P: ¿Quién es Explicitt?
R: Explicitt (Diego Pérez Carrion) es un compositor, amante del boombap y del 808 con sampleos de boleros de fondo. Arraigado mucho por la ideología de llevar las letras a un nivel trascendental, sin descuidar el estilo, quién es, ni comprometer los ideales. Dale un cuaderno y te devolverá un libro.
P: ¿Cuál es la visión de tu proyecto musical?
R: La visión no es más que juntar a todos. Está muy grabado en mi mente que… en el Viña Rock de España, el mismo publico que corea a “C Tangana” es el mismo público que corea a raperos con alto nivel de producción y pluma, y mi visión es juntar a cualquiera que sienta a flor de piel, hacer que despierten los muertos en vida, honorar a mis muertos y salir de la crisis. Al paso de los años se ha transformado de “proyecto” a un “Life Style”. El verdadero contacto humano se da con la distancia natural entre las realidades, no vengo a fardar de drogas, ni mujeres, ni lujos, ni a decirte que lo hago mejor que tú, vengo a compartirte mis tesoros y mis penas.
R: La inspiración principal fue un libro llamado “Pureza” de Johnatan Franzen (tengo una barra en la canción de Pureza referente al libro) en el cual explica lo corrompido que el ser humano puede llegar a estar con los intereses y exigencias de un entorno hostil, llegue a la conclusión sobre el desprendimiento del ser hacia las cosas banales, y me siento puro al tener mis letras como única posesión con valor que me ayuda a trascender todos los días.
R: Se viene el “Muerte al Palco EP”, un proyecto en colaboración con @Laikaverde integrante del grupo @lecassatt. Con ellos tengo un disco llamado “Satélite Nublado” (disponible en todas las plataformas) y diez mil proyectos en puerta. El EP Muerte al Palco es simplemente amor al camino. Nosotros los artistas nos jugamos la piel en la cancha, los que tienes “facilidades” disfrutan ver a los artistas matándose en la cancha. Yo y mi equipo somos de códigos, y queremos honrar cada sacrificio con este disco mientras que con barras e instrumentales duras les damos cachetadas con guante blanco a los artistas sin contenido y al público con expectativas bajas sobre la música urbana.
