P: ¿Quién es Gold Citrus?
R: Somos 4 amigos de Monterrey que decidieron empezar a hacer música juntos. Nuestro sonido va por el hip hop, r&b y el trap, pero nos gusta explorar más allá de las líneas de los géneros musicales para plasmar la vida como la vemos nosotros y conectar con los demás. (@cd.milo , @brunotr3s , @buda.baker , @eddiegold)
P: ¿Cuál es la visión de tu proyecto musical?
R: Nos gusta tener las riendas en cada parte del proceso artístico, por eso es que estamos creando este proyecto para darnos a nosotros mismos, y eventualmente a otras personas el poder creativo completo de nuestro arte. Seguiremos combinando la música, las letras, el flow, y los videos para crear nuestro propio mundo donde realmente exista la libertad.
R: La inspiración de “Aquí” fue muy simple. Bruno quería escribir una canción que dijera “No hay mejor lugar que aquí” entonces agarró la guitarra y empezamos a escribir. Poco a poco la canción empezó a agarrar vida propia y nosotros solo nos encargamos de agregar los detalles. ¡Ah y el p*to solo de guitarra del final nos voló la cabeza a todos! Esta rola para nosotros es un ejemplo de dejar que la música hable por si misma. Y en este caso la música decidió recordarnos que estamos bien.
R: Nuestro primer álbum “Buenos Días”, ¡se estrena el 23 de abril! Es lo que hemos trabajando este último año y estamos muy emocionados. Vamos a seguir chingándole, mucha música, muchos videos. Nos gustaría mucho conocer y colaborar con toda la escena creciente en Monterrey y en México e impulsar a nuestra ciudad pa´ explotar el potencial artístico que hay aquí.
