Acerca del proceso creativo que sucedió para que “Pikachu” naciera, la artista nos habla de lo que la inspiró para escribir este tema: “Me paso que tenia un amigo que quiero mucho que estaba sufriendo que estaba pasando por un momento difícil, y yo sentí como la necesidad en ese momento de expresar de “wow yo quisiera ser el escudo de esta persona”.”. Después de meses de tener el primer verso escrito, una noche de fiesta con sus amistades recibió la inspiración necesaria para encontrar el coro y terminó completando lo que sería esta canción. “Cuando estábamos creando sentia que eramos como niños” nos dice la artista acerca del proceso de crear la canción, haciendo referencia a las baterías de rock integradas al tema así como el sentimiento general de estar en el estudio trabajando en este tema.
“Jigglypuff me encantaba porque cantaba” nos comenta cuando le preguntamos por su Pokemon favorito.
Elena Rose como comentamos previamente no solamente trabaja en su proyecto solista sino que trabaja constantemente con otros proyectos en temas de composición y fuera de ser una tarea en esencia similar, es muy distinto el acercamiento al momento de trabajar en el proyecto de alguien más versus en el de ella misma: “Yo soy muy dura conmigo misma, yo quisiera amarme a mi como amo a los demás”. Actualmente para lo que resta del año nos platica que desea seguir creando desde este punto en el que se encuentra actualmente, feliz, trabajando y explorando su sonido hacia el siguiente paso en su carrera.
