El Tío BORN esta cansado de Kanye West. Desde hace un buen rato. El constante ciclo promocional de quemar puentes y declarar la guerra en contra de un enemigo es emocionante la primera hasta la tercera vez pero no más. Es normal que la juventud este en asombro al entrar en contacto con la figura pública de Ye, ya que es la única la cuál decide romper con la línea de sanidad a ese nivel, como figura artística es hipnotizante, sobre todo en una era en donde ser pulcro y perfecto ante las cámaras es el estándar y nada abajo de eso es aceptable.
Todas las locuras de Kanye West siempre han sido justificadas por su genio creativo y si, pudiera ser efectivamente la figura musical más influyente del mundo. Mucho tiene que ver con que la vara está totalmente abajo en términos de asombro, los artistas de hoy le temen al infrarrojo sobre sus cabezas al momento de que deciden dar una declaración o paso, en ese sentido Kanye West es un sorbo de agua fresca.
Los rockeros no son rebeldes, el mensaje de todas las estrellas pop se ha estandarizado y cualquier otro género no tiene la relevancia suficiente para impactar la cultura de esa manera.
Lo triste es que la repetida necesidad de Kanye de mimetizar su ciclo le ha restado autenticidad y ha revelado su modus operandi de promoción de ventas.
Cuando Kanye West no tiene algo que vender es mudo. Si Kanye West no te necesita vender algo no va a hablar. Si Kanye West no tiene un sneaker, álbum o producto que necesite que consumas no vas a escuchar de él. Entiende su poder en su polarizante figura y decide usarlo con propósitos meramente de enriquecimiento, de lo contrario estaría presente el resto de los días del año que no necesita estar en campaña.
Así que el próximo álbum se peleará con alguien más, y el próximo Yeezy jurará derribar alguna otra corporación, veremos que nueva cruzada se inventa pero será igual o más controversial y polarizante que la anterior. Lamentablemente estamos en un espacio indeseable, en el que estamos cansados de Kanye West pero al mismo tiempo puede ser que lo necesitemos para ser todo lo que los demás no se atreven a ser. Hasta que los artistas de hoy en día no se reinventen en figuras emocionantes y de impacto cultural, al menos tendremos a Kanye West recordándonos que se siente ser sorprendido, aunque sea con el mismo truco de siempre.
