Ruben Naranjo, mejor conocido como Cxsinensis, es un artista tapatío multidisciplinario el cual experimenta utilizando elementos del Hip Hop y el Rap, para crear una propuesta multilingüística basada en su narrativa personal. Tuve la oportunidad de hablar con el artista en su más reciente visita a Monterrey el año pasado, mientras trabajaba lo que sería su sencillo del 2021 “Affresco” y hablamos acerca del deseo de poder ejecutar proyectos creativos de manera independiente a un alto nivel.
Desde entonces, además de continuar sus lanzamientos musicales, el artista junto a GRLS crearon la experiencia visual “PHOTOSENSITIVE” en su ciudad natal, creando un show en vivo que exploraba los elementos de la luz y el tiempo, retando lo que puede presentar un acto ligado al Hip Hop y Rap en nuestro país. “La música representa el lenguaje universal que permite la comunicación con el sentir de cualquier persona en cualquier lugar” escribe el artista en su biografía y entendiendo esto como punto de partida, podemos a la misma vez, entender sus motivaciones al crear.
La semana pasada, regresó con un nuevo sencillo, el cuál llega en un formato atípico a lo que un lanzamiento comercial debería ser, pero que permite al artista continuar en su misión de expandir sus horizontes artísticos. “Un cuestionamiento directamente ligado a la agresividad, abrazando la tendencia humana a la fuerza del colapso”, son las palabras que utiliza el artista para describir el video. Ejecutado a una sola toma, es una fusión de arte visual, baile y música, en dónde la coreografía y dirección corporal del video estuvieron a cargo de Claudia Martinez y su compañía de danza Emotion.
Cxsinensis es un proyecto interesante gracias a su pura persecución de la visión creativa, cuando veo sus proyectos personalmente pienso, que este es el tipo de cosas que los creativos quisiéramos hacer pero siempre terminamos pensando “nombre pero sería un pedo””, me queda claro que Rubén está más que dispuesto a meterse en pedos para poder ejecutar lo que trae en la mente. En el sentido de artistry, hay que darle todos los puntos al jovén por buscar retarse con cada lanzamiento, así como el salmón, queda claro que no esta tomando el camino fácil.
